I think of a lot of my designs as coloring book pages and I like to imagine new ways to use them.
For example, I have made at least a dozen different versions of the girl angel design depending on for whom I am making her.
I've done a Halloween version for my Halloween obsessed daughter, a cookie baking angel for a friend who does a lot of baking at Christmas, and an Ohio State angel for someone who's child is attending that college. I've also done a farmer angel, just for fun. I know that other people have used my design for memory quilts, where they will use fabric from an article of clothing from a loved one who has passed. I am currently playing with my Santa Star pattern. I can picture him in many different outfits, but the one I am working on right now will be a Scottish or Irish version. I have some Irish ancestry and so does my aunt and her children. We have ordered some authentic tartan fabric from a company that makes kilts and will be incorporating our family's tartans into the project.
